Richard Nance

Richard Nance is a retired California police sergeant. During his 26-year career, Richard served as a Patrol Supervisor, Defensive Tactics Program Supervisor, SWAT Team Leader, and Firearms Instructor. Richard is the Self Defense Editor of Handguns magazine and the Technology Editor of Guns & Ammo magazine. He authored the book, GunFIGHT! – An Integrated Approach to Shooting and Fighting in Close Quarters.

J. Scott Rupp

J. Scott Rupp is editor-in-chief of Handguns and RifleShooter magazines and has served as executive producer on “Handguns & Defensive Weapons” and “Personal Defense” television shows as well as producer/co-host on “Ruger Inside & Out.” He is a former member of the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit and today competes in various local action-pistol events in addition to testing and evaluating guns for Handguns magazine.

Brad Fitzpatrick

Brad Fitzpatrick is the author of The Shooter's Bible Guide to Concealed Carry and is the Gear Editor at Handguns magazine. He has competed in IDPA pistol competitions for the last 10 years and has written more than 500 articles for Handguns, Rifle Shooter, and other firearms publications. He's also an avid handgun hunter and 4-H shooting sports instructor.
