Blackhawk Executive Attache Case

Blackhawk Executive Attache Case

Blackhawk Industries continues to expand its line of tactical gear and accessories. In addition to serious combat gear, the firm offers a variety of bags and cases intended for more genteel pursuits yet with the prepared citizen and police officer in mind. One such item is its Executive Attache Case, which is an enlarged and upgraded version of its concealed holster attache. The case is made from Nytaneon 1000d material and comes in four colors: burgundy, hunter green, navy blue and basic black. The sample I received was in hunter green and was quite attractive, stylish and would blend in well in any casual business setting. The exterior appearance of the case gives no hint that the interior is designed to carry more than conventional office supplies.

The main compartment expands to 7 1/2 inches in width and is well padded to protect electronic equipment or other fragile items. I recently used the case as a carry-on bag for a cross-country flight and easily stowed my camera and bulky lenses as well as other photo equipment with plenty of room to spare and felt they were well protected. The case will expand to accept a lot of gear yet collapses to compact dimensions with a light load inside.

There is a padded divider in the main compartment and side pockets with nylon security straps to separate items. The divider is covered with Velcro to accommodate various accessory pouches. These include handcuff, flashlight, radio, cell phone, magazine or knife, and utility pouches are included. Velcro allows you to position these items anywhere on the divider for easy access. There are also two outer compartments on the case. One is a conventional zipper-accessible pocket. The other is roomier, expands somewhat to accommodate larger items and has a flap with Velcro fasteners. Price: $120
