At the 2016 NRA Show, Nighthawk Custom announced that it had teamed up with famed German gunmaker Korth to bring a line of revolvers to the United States. The company will be the exclusive importer of this particular line of Korth guns.

The Nighthawk/Korth revolver series includes three separate models in 9mm and .357 Magnum: The Sky Hawk, the Mongoose and the Super Sport.

Sky Hawk 9mm

The Sky Hawk 9mm is built as a concealed-carry revolver for those looking for a high-quality arm to count on in a fight. The benefit of the Sky Hawk is its innovative cylinder design and ejection system that allows it to use the rimless 9mm cartridge without moon clips.

The Sky Hawk is available in both a 2-inch and 3-inch barrel length options. Overall length for the 2-inch version is 6.3 inches, while the height is 5.12 inches. The Sky Hawk features an L-Frame grip size to ensure that shooters can get a full, steady grip on the gun.

Overall weight on the Sky Hawk is listed as 1.23 pounds for the 2-inch version. The barrel and cylinder are machined from billet steel and the frame is milled from 7075 aluminum. Both are finished in a diamond-like carbon coating for protection against the elements.

Extensive care and attention went into the construction of this gun, as all parts are tightly fitted and timed, and the trigger is polished for a smooth, consistent trigger pull. Other features include Hogue grips, a solid-gold bead front sight and a lanyard for retention.

The Sky Hawk 9mm sells for a suggested retail price of $1,699.

Mongoose .357 Magnum

The Mongoose .357 is an all-steel six-shot revolver built in the classic full-lug style. While the Mongoose is marketed as a .357, there is also an option to include a 9mm cylinder that is fitted and timed to a particular gun. This extra cylinder is of the same design found on the Sky Hawk, which allows shooters to use the rimless 9mm cartridge without clips.

The Mongoose comes standard with a 4-inch barrel, but it is available in 3-inch, 5.25-inch and 6-inch configurations. Overall length for the 4-inch version is 8.86 inches, while the height is 6.1 inches.

Overall weight on the Mongoose is listed as 2.35 pounds for the 4-inch configuration. The barrel and cylinder are machined from 4340 billet steel, while the frame is milled from 4140 billet steel. The whole gun is finished in a DLC coating for superior protection.

As with all Nighthawk products, careful attention and detail went into the design and construction of the Mongoose. As with the Sky Hawk, the Mongoose features a polished trigger assembly for a smooth, consistent trigger pull.

The Mongoose .357 Magnum sells for a suggested retail price of $3,499.

Super Sport .357 Magnum

As is typical on the Korth Super Sport, the Nighthawk Super Sport in .357 Magnum features Picatinny rails along the top and sides of the gun, allowing for the full flexibility to add accessories and optics as the shooter desires. With these options, the Super Sport makes for a perfect revolver tactical, hunting and competition roles.

The Super Sport comes standard with a 6-inch barrel. Overall length is 11.02 inches, while the height is 5.9 inches. Overall weight for the Super Sport is listed as 3.64 pounds. Sights are adjustable for elevation and windage.

The barrel and cylinder on the Super Sport are milled from AISI 4340 billet steel, while the frame is milled from 4140 billet steel. The gun comes finished in a DLC coating for protection against the elements.

As with the Mongoose, there is an option to include a 9mm cylinder that is fitted and timed to a particular gun. This extra cylinder also allows shooters to use the rimless 9mm cartridge without clips.

The Super Sport comes with what the company terms as the “Roller Trigger.” The trigger is designed to give shooters the option for custom trigger adjustment at five different areas in the trigger assembly: the trigger stop, trigger return, mainspring, double-action trigger progression and sear adjustment.

The Nighthawk Super Sport retails at a suggested price of $4,799.
