Man Attempts To Rob Arkansas Store With Hot Dog Tongs

You never know what you might encounter in a self-defense situation, but establishing a clear and concise action plan for "attack-by-hot-dog-tongs" is probably at the bottom of anyone's list.

KSFM is reporting that a drunk and belligerent Renee Jackson, age 35, entered a Ft. Smith, Arkansas convenience store and grabbed the set of tongs from the hot dog station and demanded money from the store clerk.

"He attempted to rob the place, but really I guess nobody took him serious enough to actually give him money because of his state of intoxication," said Cpl Steven Dooly of Fort Smith police.

Jackson's get away plan involved standing in the store for 15 minutes stumbling and mumbling, until police arrived, and arrested him without resistance.
