Keith got his start shooting with the Marine Corps in 1996 and is currently an active duty infantry with the Army. He first hit the scene in 1994 when he captured national championships in rapid-fire and free pistol. He was the military rapid-fire world champion in 2005--a year that also saw him notch U.S. national titles in both free pistol and air pistol and win two gold, one silver and two bronze medals at the Championships of the Americas. He was the silver medalist at the 2007 Pan American Games and bronze medalist at the 2007 Munich World Cup. He earned his Olympic berth with a rapid-fire victory at the team trials.
