Jason began his career with the Rochester Rifle Club, where he competed in rifle for four years before switching to pistol. And apparently it was a good move. Since 1996 he’s been a member of more than 10 international travel teams and has won a host of medals in both national and international competition, culminating in his selection to the U.S. Olympic team in 2004 in both free pistol and men’s air pistol--finishing in 18th and 36th place, respectively. In 2007 he was not only national champion in air and free pistol but also the U.S. champion and the gold medalist in both events at the Pan American Games. He earned his place on the Olympic team with wins in both events at the trials.
