    This should be a great item-their past experience with the 1911's plus their continual high quality performance in the AR market speaks volumes for their ability. Way to go Mark and Chuck!!

    Are you sure about the weight? 29 oz? Thats as much as a full size 45 xd. I have a XDM 3.8 9mm that weighs less.

    I like the traditional rounded trigger guard. I have always wondering by someone besides Wilson doesn't make a scaled down 1911 with a polymer frame in 9mm? I would have to have 2 of them:)

    I'd like to buy the Kimber Solo, but according Kimber it only works with certain ammo. I am tired of finicky pistols that won't run unless you use specific ammo. Call me when you figure it out.

    I reall like that Ed Brown carry gun, but it'll be a cold day- down south- before I spend $3k on a pistol- unless I win the lottery. But I agree about the Sig, 'disease' is a good description.

    A compact, low velocity low capacity, heavy .45 ACP is something I never could wrap my head around for self defense. Please consider a snub. 357 for this job.
